About Us



Tulasi Health Care is a widely renowned group of psychiatric nursing homes & Rehabilitation Centers in Delhi, India providing specialized treatment for substance abuse disorders and mental illnesses.

Tulasi was co-founded by Dr. Gorav Gupta and Dr. Ruchika Gupta. The operations started with a small, yet highly qualified team comprising of 1 psychiatrist and 2 psychologists.

The facility at that time in Mehrauli was sufficient to cater to the needs of 10 patients.

Mental Research Society, an NGO started by the same group was established and commenced its operations.

Keeping in mind the requirement for a halfway home & psychiatric hospital for patients with chronic psychiatric illnesses, Tulasi Home was established.

Moving ahead on the growth ladder, the group has been consistently revamping and enhancing the treatment facilities.

Another psychiatric nursing homes & Rehabilitation Centers was started by the group in Mandi, Delhi. With the same, the combined number of active treatment seekers reached 125.

PERSONALITY DISORDERS TREATMENT



Every individual is born with a distinct personality. Personality is the combination of one’s behavior, thinking (also known as thought-process), and attitude towards the outside world.

Personality develops during childhood and is influenced by genetic and environmental factors.


Bipolar Disorder



Taking from the name, Bi–polar disorder primarily consists of two poles of moods comprising severe highs and lows.

With these changes in moods come a number of variations in sleep, productivity, energy, thinking and behavior that are unusual in nature.

Extreme highs may be referred to as states of Mania. Extreme lows may be understood as states of Depression. These are alternated by phases of normal mood.


De Addiction Treatment



Theoretically, any substance can be abused if taken without considering the limit of consumption.

Regular and excessive use of a substance is known as “ADDICTION“. Narcotic drugs are not the only substances that can be abused;. Alcohol, prescription medication, pharmaceutical drugs, inhalants, solvents, cigarettes and even coffee can be harmful when excessively consumed.

Substance dependence is harmful as it alters mood and hampers effective functioning.
